Can We Relax After Surviving Our Scariest Imaginations?

Since I began working a commercial newspaper route (1AM to 4 or 5AM), I have
had thoughts and feelings I dare not share with anyone. Why? ...Just in case,
the words I speak create reality. I grew up under the tutoring of dream it,
speak it, believe it, accept it. Just in case that sounds a little too naive, even for
me--I have lived experienced this phenomena several distinct times in my life.
That is why I speak cautiously about impending crisis, death, damage, despair.?
Suddenly, I was not myself. I thought faster than I can think. I noted he
was wearing standard attire for the Mississippi Coast (Shorts and T-shirt); he
had blue eyes and a modest beard. He was also unsteadily holding a large gun
that was pointed towards a younger woman sitting in the car.
I am truly not myself anymore. I said, "Ok" (non-chalantly). I went in and
calmly told the clerk to call 911 and let them know that a man outside has a gun
pointed at a woman. She looked at me blankly. I re-peated myself a couple
more times as a couple more people ambled into the store, neither noticed the
man with the gun. ...Was I imagining things?

Thanks for tuning in, Christofer. Sometimes my synchrony with time is a bit off, combine that with a generous sprinkling of adult a.d.d. and we have unfinished stories and articles floating aimlessly about. Now that I have at least 1 confirmation I will focus. (ha)
